Workers’ Compensation

I represent injured individuals in North Carolina in their Workers’ Compensation claims. There are certain key things to remember initially in a Worker’s Compensation claim. First, report your injury to your employer and seek medical treatment. Then, tell your medical provider that your injury is related to work and the name of your employer. As soon as possible, inform the appropriate manager of your employer or owner of the company that you have a worked related injury. And, within 30 days, give your employer written notice that you have experienced a work related injury. The Workers’ Compensation system in North Carolina was designed to aid injured individuals in getting the healthcare they need to restore them as nearly as practicable to their pre-injury selves. The system, however, can sometimes be hard to navigate and I am here to help.
